We offer full welding shop services for TIG, MIG, Ferrous, Non-Ferrous and Spot Welding with appropriate filler wire and shielding gasses stored on site for all operations.

Our facilities offer over 10 dedicated welding bays offering the potential for a quick turn around on high volume welded fabrications All of our welders are BS EN 9606/1 and BS4872 qualified, both parts 1 and 2, covering MIG and TIG welding. This ensures a consistent high quality of finished weld on all components.

All equipment is calibrated once a year by United Welding Services and each welding bay is equipped with fume extraction.

Below are some examples of the type of welded fabrications we carry out.

Multi Operation Fabrications
This fabrication is made from steel plate punch formed, welded, machined and powder coated in Nifty Green (non standard paint).

Machine Frames
This medium fabrication is a framework for an automated cardboard box maker made from mild steel sheet and section, welded and ready for powder coating. This is one of the largest items, by weight that Border Engineering handle.

Welded Fabrications
This fabrication has been welded using various thicknesses of mild-steel plate. The final unit is supplied weekly in batches of 25.

Welded Plate Fabrications
This item consists of welded plate (various thicknesses) that has been punched and formed. The finish is zinc plated and gold passivated.

Large Bespoke Fabrications
Welded stainless steel fabrication fitted into rear of van. System was prototyped by Border Engineering and has been successfully crash tested with a view to full production.
