We offer subcontract presswork services for small batch production. Our facilities include two press machines, 100 and 60 tons. We can work with client tooling or use local firms to design and build tooling to your specifications.

Fly

Progression
PressworkThis pipe clip was produced using a two stage progression tool using tooling supplied by the customer.
Electromechanical
Assemblies
We carry out work for a number of local manufacturers who specialise in electromechanical
products including motors, dynamos and alternators for whom we provide pressed
parts.
We make and repair a large amount of our tooling in-house.
Brackets,
Mountings & ComponentsBorder Engineering Ltd make brackets for plasma screen fixings, emergency lighting, chassis & engine mounting components, as well as body panels; and spares for Bedford Lorries, Renault Trucks, Vauxhall and the Alvis Vickers Carmichael Fire Engines.
FixturesThese concave washers which have been zinc plated were pressed on our 100 ton power press. Parts like this can be produced up to 1 million off and supplied in customer crates ready for use in production line environments or finished with a lacquer and packaged for long term storage and stock supply.
