Inspection

We operate full on site inspection facilities using equipment calibrated twice a year by an external third party, Bedford based company AQA (Applied Quality Assurance).

Inspection routines can be carried out to customer specification with standard full inspections carried out on first, middle and last batches. Both full and part batch inspection routines are available.

Dimensional inspection reports can be carried out and made available where required.

Process control inspection is carried out on all fabrications to check and confirm weld quality and weld presence as well as to determine that all parts are in place such as brackets, plates and fixtures.

To coordinate quality control and inspection we have a dedicated full time quality inspector who is responsible for undertaking batch inspections, coordinating reporting and management of inspection equipment.

Machine inspection is carried out regularly to ensure manufacturing tolerances on all machinery including CNC punch press, NC tube benders, CNC brake presses and machining plant.

Our inspection procedures are fully backed up through our production management system and supported through out ISO 9001 quality control structure.
