CAD
Facilities
We offer full in-house CAD services and accept
CAD files in a range of formats electronically. As
well
as electronic
drawings we are happy to work from paper detail plans
and also from clients concepts, ideas, samples and
existing prototype parts. [top]
CNC
Punching
The
Trumpf TC200R Turret Punch (Trumatic 200) is used for
all our punch pressing and has
a press capacity of 20T capable of working
with sheet thicknesses of up to 6mm, with a punch accuracy
of ±0.1mm and has automated tool load/unload features.

CNC
Bending
New for 2005, the Soco RC50NC CNC tube bending machine
capable of putting 8 bends into a 2" diameter
component with a high bending accuracy of +/- 0.1 degree
and an NC control unit with touch screen. Suitable for steel, stainless steel,
aluminum, and copper. [top]
Machining
Facilities
Our shop floor is complemented by a full toolkit of milling,
drilling, cutting and lathe plant to support fabrication

Welding
Facilities
We offer full welding shop services for TIG, MIG, Ferrous,
Non-Ferrous and Spot Welding. Our facilities offer over
10 dedicated welding bays offering the potential for a quick
turn around on high volume welded fabrications. [top]
Presswork
Our facilities include two press machines, 100 and 60 tons.
We can work with client tooling or use local firms to design
and build tooling to your specifications. [top]
Brake
PressFacilities
AFM 3m 160 Tonne CNC brake press. The AFM press allows us
to form components up to 3100mm long and deal with thicknesses
up to 25mm. [top]

Press Facilities
Megoform 2m 50 Tonne CNC brake press. The Megoform is perfect
for smaller, close tolerance, multi-bend components. [top]
Fly
Presses
We operate a number

Sheet
Rolling
We offer sheet rolling upto 1m wide and 6mm thick for
curved surfaces. [top]
Assembly
Facilities
We offer in-house mechanical assembly services and can manage
delivery of finished goods to anywhere in the world. Border
Engineering Ltd have good industry experience through key
personnel, offer a quick turn around and are flexible in
their manufacturing processes. [top]
Transport
& Loading
We have facilities for lifting and loading upto 2 tons
with our Forkway Forklift truck and transporting upto
1.5 tons on our flat back truck. We offer local deliveries
as part of our service. [top]
Health
& Safety
The health and safety of our work force is high on our priorities.
Each welding bay is fitted with new dust and fume extraction
equipment and the whole factory is fitted out with an air
filtration system designed to removed oil vapour, suspended
particles and moisture from the air resulting in a cleaner
